July 4, 2014: The California Drought -- Coyote Hills East Bay Regional Park

This park, home of a 2500 year old Ohlone (the local tribes) shell mound site, is normally a MARSH, filled with all sorts of fish and birds. This is the first startling evidence I had seen of our historic drought AT THE COAST. (It's looking pretty frightening inland.)
