August 16, 2014: Lake Mission Viejo with Alex, Luke and Katie (Orange County)

Part of a fun weekend visiting Alex in Orange County, we went paddle boarding for the first time at a tranquil lake near Alex's house!  

Our friends Luke and Katie were on their honeymoon, and passed through town to see Alex at the same time I was there.  A happy reunion!  I met Luke and Katie when Alex organized a group of us for the New Years's Day Lake Chabot Half Marathon Trail Race up here in Oakland in January 2013, when he still lived near Palo Alto.
